Mrs. Patricia Irias

I am originally from the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area of Western New York.  I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Spanish and a minor in French.  After university, I moved to Plano following my family here.  I began working in ESL at Bowman Middle School in Spring of 1993 and began teaching Spanish in 1994.  This will be my 26th year teaching Spanish at Williams High School.  I absolutely love Williams for the amazing diversity that we have here.  I learn about the world and the different cultures that populate it every day.  This is my 9th consecutive year and 15th year overall as the LOTE Department Chair. I have written Spanish Curriculum and District Assessments for Plano ISD since 1994. This year, I will be teaching Spanish II, II Honors (only for 10th graders), and III Honors. This is the last year that the district is offering level II Honors of our LOTE languages.
