I was born and raised in Mexico City, studied at the Universidad de las Americas, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy with minors in English as a Second Language and Spanish as a Second Language. I am fully bilingual in English/Spanish. My family and I had a corporate relocation to the Plano area in 1996. I joined the Williams family in 2003. In the past, I have taught ESL English, World History, and World Geography. Presently, I teach AP Human Geography and World Geography Honors. I am the Social Studies Department Chair and the KEYSS sponsor for our campus. My husband and I have two daughters; the oldest graduated from UTD with a Master's in Geological Science, and our second daughter graduated from TCU in Music Education and a Master's at Texas State in Music Education.
I enjoy cooking, listening to music, reading, and traveling with my husband of 38 years.
