I was born and raised in Mexico City and pursued my higher education at the Universidad de las Americas, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy with minors in English as a Second Language and Spanish as a Second Language. I am fully bilingual in both English and Spanish. In 1996, my family relocated to the Plano area due to a corporate transfer. I joined the Williams family in 2003.
Throughout my career, I have taught ESL English, World History, and World Geography. Currently, I teach AP Human Geography and World Geography Honors. Additionally, I serve as the Social Studies Department Chair and the KEYSS sponsor for our campus.
My husband and I have two daughters. Our eldest graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Master's in Geological Science, and our youngest earned her degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University, followed by a Master's in Music Education from Texas State University.
In my personal life, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, reading, and traveling with my husband of 38 years.
