I was born and raised in Dallas, TX.  I graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in early childhood education through 6^th grade, Special Education, and ESL.  I worked at Wells Elementary for nine years before coming to Jackson.  This is my eleventh year working at Jackson Elementary.  I consider it a great privilege to work at Jackson.   

My parents have 6 children, and I have a son.  My parents helped raise my son, and I helped raise my younger siblings.  My partner has been part of our lives for over 3 years.  Our families are really close to one another and enjoy spending time together.  We celebrate many events together, such as holidays, birthdays, and quinceañeras.
