Welcome to my 4th grade page. I am the 4th grade team leader, and have spent most of my years as an educator teaching the 4th grade. I have my bachelors degree in Liberal Studies/Elementary Education, my masters degree in Reading Education, and my Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership: Teacher Education in Multicultural Societies. This will be my 15th year as a Jackson Jaguar and I am thrilled to call Jackson home!

I am a native Texan and grew up not too far from where Jackson is located. I attended Richardson ISD schools up until 10th grade, at which point I attended Trinity Christian Academy in Addison. I then went out to California for college, and upon graduation from Biola University, I moved back home to be close to my family. My family is very important to me, so I try to spend as much time with them as I can. I enjoy watching my niece and nephew play sports (golf and baseball, respectively), and am so proud of my niece's golf accomplishments the last three  years as she was Freshman of the Year for NCAA D2 in 2022, and DBU, where she attends, won the National Championship in the 2023 season.They went on to win Conference and then competed in Regionals and Nationals for the 2024 season. My nephew is a freshman at Baylor University, where he is a pitcher on the baseball team. I can't wait to watch Jordan in her senior season of golf and my nephew in his freshman year as a Baylor Bear!

In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, reading, watching sports, walking, and traveling. I also enjoy playing with my miniature Schnauzer named Winston.
