Mission:
The Carpenter ESL Department believes that all culturally and linguistically diverse students should have access to the highest quality education available so that our students are vastly prepared to face the challenges of today’s changing world.

Goals:
The goal of our ESL department is to offer students a quality education that enhances their skills both linguistically and academically. We will achieve this goal by: * Improving oral fluency. * Transferring skills and concepts into English. * Attaining high levels of academic achievement by building upon student’s background knowledge. * Offering a supportive and nurturing environment to assist our students in all academic areas.

Our ESL department offers a variety of classes to best fit the needs of our individual students. Our teachers give the students learning experiences that help them to acclimate to a new culture while still embracing each student’s individuality and native culture.
