Congratulations 2023 Teacher Externs

Supported by the Plano ISD Education Foundation, the Plano ISD professional learning department, helped provide 19 Plano ISD educators, with the opportunity to work with leaders at local businesses and non-profits to explore the knowledge and skills needed to assist student learning in their classrooms. After completing this summer program, teacher externs will bring their real-life experiences back to their classrooms to help prepare Plano ISD students for success beyond the classroom. On July 18, the teacher externs met as a group to share their experiences and lesson plan designs with their fellow externs and to celebrate their graduation from the program. A special thank you to the 2023 community partners that helped make this experience possible. Thank You Community Partners for helping to make this opportunity available to teachers.
