• Help all students be prepared when the 2021-2022 school year begins.

Each year the Plano ISD Education Foundation partners with businesses and individuals to secure school supplies to help out our families in need.

Supplies are distributed in several ways:

    • The CORE Store - An initiative of the Plano ISD Education Foundation, allows educators from across the district to shop for free for the items they need to support their student's in learning.
      • Launched in 2016, the CORE Store has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in supplies and classroom materials to teachers throughout Plano ISD.
      • The CORE Store allows teachers to shop for additional school supplies for their students at no cost.
      • Across the district one out of every three students is classified as economically disadvantaged, with some campuses having as many as 90% of their students.
      • For some classrooms, school supplies and classroom materials represent a day-to-day struggle for many students and teachers.
    • Back to School Fair - Plano ISD will host a Back to School Fair in August to provide access for families and students to services and resources to get them off to a strong start for the school year.
      • The Plano ISD Education Foundation will provide 1,500+ stuffed backpacks with supplies and resources for families.
    • As Requested - From time-to-time, teachers and campus administrators will reach out with specific school supplies need to support a certain student or program.
