Student Absences, Change of Dismissal Procedures, Policies and Resources

To report a child absence, please call our child safe line at 469-752-4500 option 3 or email 135absence@pisd.edu.

Call before 7:40 AM on the day of the absence.  When emailing use Subject Line-Student Name, Grade.  We ask that you copy your child's teacher in the email also.  
Leave the student's name, grade, teacher and reason for absence.

Please email 135absence@pisd.edu to provide information about early departures, doctor's appointments and changes to a child's dismissal for the day. Changes in dismissal should be rare and before 2:00 PM to allow time to notify all.
