Ms. Riordan has been at Andrews since 2008.  She grew up all over the country.  In fact, she’s lived in seven different states!

 

Ms. Riordan received her Music Education degree at the University of North Texas in 2007.  She is endorsed by the Organization of American Kodály Educators, which means she’s certified to teach her students using the Kodály method of music education. She is also an instructor for the summer program at SMU so that other teachers can learn this method.

 

For fun, Ms. Riordan loves to play the saxophone & piano, paint, go to movies/concerts/museums, and travel to new places. She has three sisters, three nieces, and three nephews, and she loves spending time with them!  She also has an adorable rescue dog named Baxter who is spoiled rotten!

 

Music plays a huge role in her life, and she feels very blessed to share it with the kids at Andrews Elementary!
