Mrs. Cauhape is honored and excited to be the Student Support Liaison at Andrews Elementary. She looks forward to building strong relationships within the Andrews community.

Growing up in Artesia, New Mexico, Mrs. Cauhape attended Texas Tech University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Human and Family Studies with a focus on Elementary Education. She later obtained her Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology.

Before joining Andrews, she served as a third-grade teacher, team leader, and Instructional/Dyslexia Specialist at Hughston Elementary. As a lifelong learner, Mrs. Cauhape recently earned her Certified Academic Language Therapy certification, reflecting her passion for supporting students with diverse needs.

Mrs. Cauhape is dedicated to empowering teachers to unlock their full potential and create dynamic learning environments. Through collaborative coaching, she strives to inspire educators to embrace innovative teaching practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and prioritize student engagement. Her mission is to support teachers in their professional journeys by providing them with the tools, resources, and encouragement they need to cultivate a love of learning in every student. Together, they can motivate students to seek and interpret knowledge, believing that autonomous learners will continue to pursue greater learning experiences.

In her free time, Mrs. Cauhape enjoys spending time with her family, and nothing brings her more joy than her daughters' smiles and hugs. One of her favorite places to be is at a table with an endless supply of good salsa.
