Mrs. Norwood is excited to be teaching Kindergarten again this year. This is her 18th year teaching at Andrews. She has previously taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade.
Mrs. Norwood has been married for 29 years to her wonderful husband, Matt. She has a son, Tyler, who attends UNT and a daughter, Julianne, who teaches 3rd grade in Prosper. She also has 2 dogs: Bailee and Macy. Mrs. Norwood attended Plano schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade and was also in the PACE program. She graduated from UNT with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She also teaches youth at her church.
When she does get some free time, Mrs. Norwood likes to spend time with her family, go to the movies, and go out to eat, read, play the piano, sing, and bake anything with chocolate. She knows this is going to be another amazing year at Andrews!
