Mrs. Vazhavilla (pronounced VAZ-a-VIL-a)

 

With roots in Hyderabad, India, Mrs. Vazhavilla’s journey of learning began early. She boasts a Bachelor's in Psychology and Political Science, a Master’s in English Literature, and an M. Phil n American Literature. Bringing over 25 years of teaching experience to the classroom, she believes education is her true calling, infusing every lesson with her passion for learning.

 

Currently, in her ninth year at Andrews Elementary, and her fifth teaching second grade, Mrs. Vazhavilla finds joy in nurturing young minds, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

Outside the classroom, she treasures family time. Married to James for 29 years, they have two sons, Andrew and Jeremiah, and together they call Plano home. They love being active members of their community.

 

In her leisure, she enjoys reading, traveling, and serene nature walks. Mrs. Vazhavilla eagerly anticipates another enriching school year at Andrews, dedicated to guiding her students to achieve their best.
