Coach Winkel has lived in Plano, TX for 16 years. Before that, she and her family lived in Minnesota for 10 years. She prefers the sun and heat of Texas to Minnesota’s cold and snowy weather. She and her husband have three children, one girl and two boys. Coach Winkel loves physical fitness, bike riding, reading, volleyball, and especially her family.

She has worked at two PISD schools, Wyatt Elementary and now Andrews Elementary, where she has been the assistant PE coach. She enjoys working with the staff and helping the kids have a great time in the gym.
