Mr. Beussman was born and raised in Springfield, Minnesota. He began his teaching career teaching 6th grade at a small Catholic school in Wabasso, MN after graduating from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s degree in History Education. After that year, he came to Texas and spent a year as a substitute in Garland ISD, followed by two years at a charter school teaching 7th grade. In Summer 2024, he decided to join Plano ISD and the 5th grade team at Andrews. 

 

A few fun facts about Mr. Beussman. He comes from a very large family of 11 (Mom, dad, and 9 children). He loves animals, especially cats. He also enjoys sports! He has spent time coaching in the past and really enjoys watching all types of American football, basketball, baseball, tennis, and softball. The Green Bay Packers are his favorite team in the world. Mr. Beussman is so excited to have a great first year at Andrews!
