Mrs. McKendall began her teaching career in Richardson ISD after graduating from The University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She then earned her Master’s degree in Reading Literacy from Texas A&M. She began teaching in Plano ISD in 2008. Throughout her career, she has taught several grades, but her favorite grade to teach is 5th grade. 

Mrs. McKendall is a native of Los Angeles, California but loves living in the great state of Texas. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their children, traveling, and watching Saints football. Some of  Mrs. McKendall’s favorite vacation spots are The Bahamas, Hawaii, and Italy. She also loves to read, shop, and attend concerts and plays. She looks forward to another fabulous year at Andrews!
