Ms. Erica Hood

  

I am Erica Hood and I am thrilled to be your child's second grade teacher this year.

 

I graduated in 2012 from Stephen F Austin State University, and then moved on to start my teaching career in Garland ISD in the fall of 2012. I moved to Gulledge in 2015 and taught 1st grade until the fall of 2021. I was moved to Saigling to teach 1st grade in the fall of 2021 and recently moved up to 2nd grade for the 2023-2024 school year. I have such a passion for teaching, I can't imagine myself doing anything else! 

 

I am married to my husband Chris and we have a daughter, Rhilynn who is 4, almost 5. We also have 2 dogs, Trigger and Rocket, and 1 cat named Dakota.
