I am so excited for another great year at Saigling! This is my third year to serve as the Dyslexia Specialist.   My biggest joy as an educator is teaching children to read and watching their little faces light up when they finally start to "get it." This is my 27th year of teaching, and I still get just as excited to see the kiddos walk through that door as I did my very first year.  In addition to countless years in the classroom, I also spent eight years as the Reading Specialist at Trinity Christian Academy before making the move to PISD. 

I have been married to my college sweetheart for the past 31 years, and we have two amazing children. Our daughter is 27 and lives here in Dallas, and our son is a senior at Oklahoma State. We are a big sports family, and relish those fall weekends filled with all things football. 

My hobbies include reading, traveling, and hiking.
