This year marks my 9th year as the Saigling PACE Specialist and my 20th year in education. This will be my 2nd year teaching Math Rocks and my 5th year directing the Saigling Musical. 

I graduated from Missouri State University in 2004 after completing my student teaching at Carlisle Elementary. My teaching career began in March of that year as a second-grade teacher at Andrews Elementary.  Later, I found a home as the First Grade Team Leader at Christie Elementary. My love of literacy opened the door to my next adventure as a Literacy Instructional Coach for grades 2-5. My passion for teaching gifted learners was realized early in my career. I began teaching PACE at Saigling in August 2016.
