This is my 30th year of teaching, and my 5th year as a librarian. I have a son who is married and lives in McKinney. His wife is about to have a baby in December, so I will be a grandmother soon! I have the cutest pets ever … a dog named Jackie and a cat named Bobbie.

Jackie is a Jack Russell Terrier, so that’s where I got her name. Bobbie looked like a tiny bobcat when she was a baby, so that’s where she got her name. I love art and making mosaics out of broken tiles. I’m trying to learn how to oil paint, but I’m not very good yet. I want to learn how to do glassblowing someday. I do many other art projects and love to make colorful, creative things. I love anything and everything about the ocean, like fishing, SCUBA diving, and finding sea glass on the beach. I take as many trips as possible to the beach. In fact, I love to travel to new places around the world, so I take trips to other places not on the beach as well.
