Welcome to Fourth Grade!  I am a native of Crown Point, Louisiana, a small bayou town south of New Orleans.  This school year will be my 26th year in education. I graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.  I earned my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2004. In December 2023, I became a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Middle Childhood Generalist.  When I am not sharing my love of books with my students, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, and gardening with native Texas plants.  I am excited about spending an amazing year with our 4th grade students.
