Hello!

My name is Misti Jackson and this is my seventeenth year teaching at Stinson Elementary! I absolutely love educating children and do believe it is part of my personal calling. It is my personal goal and belief that all children can learn in a variety of ways. We just have to meet them where they're at so they can get to their full potential.

On a more personal note, I was born in Dallas but raised in Plano. I attended PISD schools from first grade all the way to twelfth grade. I graduated from the University of North Texas with my Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Education. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Counseling at Lamar University. I have a twelve-year-old son named Zachary. He is my world! We also have a five-year-old boxer/ pit named Diana. We fostered her in 2019 and fell so deeply in love that we decided to adopt her in 2020. She is the perfect addition to our family!
