Hi! My name is Katie Rooke and I am so excited to be teaching first grade at Carlisle again this year. I am originally from Canada, but spent a large portion of my education in PISD schools. After graduating from Plano Senior High, I returned home where I received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and classical studies, as well as a Bachelor of Design in graphic design. As you can tell, I have a passion for learning, which ultimately led to my calling as a teacher. When I am not in class, I love to spend time with my family, travel, and basically do anything creative.
