I grew up in Allen but graduated from Plano East. My husband Greg & I were high school sweethearts and celebrated 27 years of marriage this year! We are so proud of our 3 children: 2 daughters and a son who is a junior in high school. Greg is a plant pathologist, and our daughters have careers in computer science & environmental science. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, visiting national parks, volunteering and spending time with my family.

This is my 20th year in education, 12th year with Plano ISD and 4th year at Carlisle. I've taught prekindergarten, kindergarten, and 1st grade, but kindergarten is the best!  I love to see the wonder and tremendous development during each child's first year at school, plus the joy and enthusiasm they bring each day. I look forward to partnering with families for a successful school year!
