A little about Mrs. Cabrera-
I am a proud mom of two. Emberly is 12 and Ari is 11. They both attended Carlisle, and now they'll both be at Schimelpfenig across the field! My husband Daniel and I have been married for 13 years. Daniel is a Police Officer.
Fur family-
We have two boxers, Dexter and Dolly. I grew up with horses. We have Q, Fire-Cracker and Taxi. I like to go out to my parents' farm as often as I can. Q and Taxi and I enjoy parades and play days when we can.
A few Favorites-
I have a slight Dr. Pepper addiction. My kids and I love Chick Fila and Raisin' Canes. My husband and I love to read so we are on our kindles when we have the time. Professional Background-
This is my ninth year with Plano ISD all here at Carlisle. This will be my seventeenth year in teaching, beginning with sixth grade social studies, second, kindergarten, third, fourth grade math, and kindergarten and second grade some more. I am thrilled to be back in kindergarten this year! I graduated from Texas State University at San Marcos in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I also completed my masters through Texas A&M University Commerce for my Masters in Education in Reading/Literacy.
