I am so excited to be back for my second year as a Coyote! Although this is my second year at Carlisle, this will be my first year as a Dyslexia Support Teacher, and I could not be more thrilled and grateful to have the opportunity to work with individuals who have dyslexia and/or dysgraphia! This will be my sixth year in the district, in which I previously taught Special Education, including training and teaching a few other multisensory instructional programs.

When I was in the third grade of elementary school, I was diagnosed with dyslexia. Since then, due to the amazing teachers I had in my own educational career, I have become passionate about encouraging and  working with the type of students that I can empathize with and relate to on a personal level. I am truly so excited to have this opportunity to grow professionally, and I am determined to offer an empathetic, encouraging, and supportive environment for my students!

Thanks to the wonderful Coyote staff, community, and PISD support, I am very much looking forward to another meaningful and influential school year!
