My name is Larry Barbour and I have taught Physical Education for 33 years (28 at Carlisle) and I have enjoyed every moment of it! I love teaching and believe that PE is vital to the development of all our students. My Goal is to help each student reach their full potential and become physically active for a lifetime. I am a former Carlisle Teacher of the Year(1999). I graduated from Baylor University where I earned a Bachelor of Science(1990) and Master of in Education(1991). I spent 15 years coaching athletics in Plano ISD and Roswell ISD in Roswell, New Mexico (Varsity Basketball, JV Baseball, Varsity Soccer, middle school football and track). 

On a personal note, I played a year of college basketball at New Mexico Military Institute. I love playing golf, bike riding, working out at the gym, and watching sports on TV. My favorite sports teams are the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Dodgers, and of course the Baylor Bears (Sic Em!). I am a member of the Disney Vacation Club so I travel to Walt Disney World quite often. I am from Roswell, New Mexico where I go frequently to see family and friends.
