Degrees: Working on it! Certifications: Although none of my certifications come from an accredited college, they do come from people I have worked alongside with and admire. They say neat things like, “Mission Possible” & “Super Star” & “Fireball”!
Mrs. Ramirez
I am so happy to be a part of the Education Community! It has always been a dream of mine to not only work in school but to be a teacher! For now, I am just as passionate about being a Teacher’s Assistant! I started my journey in 2012 in Irving Independent School District. I began as a Parent Liaison and the next year was made a Special Education Teacher Assistant & my mind was completely blown & my heart grew 10 times that year! After almost 5 years, I decided it was time for a change & moved on to Richardson ISD where I worked alongside some of the greatest Administrators, and learned from such a diverse group of kids. Recently, I wasn’t working for the school in any way. I moved on and then, just like a miracle, someone from a school reached out to me!
I have landed nicely in a place I like to call home, Mitchell Elementary. I worked in Special Education for three years with students who need LOTS of interaction, love, and compassion. I love my job & what I do! I love the students I get to work with every day! Giving them hugs and showering them with love is the best part of doing what I get to do! Every day is not easy, and we are all overcoming our own obstacles in our own lives. I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity of teaching our new Pre-K Bilingual kids! I can't wait to see how far they grow and learn!
I know many people leave work and go home to escape the pressures of "work", but I look forward to coming in every day, and hope the best for our students when they leave for the day.
