I am thrilled to have been a part of the Mitchell Family!  I have been in education for twenty years.  This will be my eleventh year as a full-time teacher in Plano ISD.  Most of my teaching experience has been in first grade.  I have taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade.  Also, I was an ESL Specialist for K-5 for three years.

I have been married for 26 years, have two precious daughters (Marina-18 & Sophia-14), and three rescued fur babies (Maynard, our country chicken-chasin’ dog, Cappucino, the tortie diva, & Nemo, the super-chill orange tabby)!

When I am not in the classroom, you can probably find me watching Marina play softball, watching Sophia cheer or perform in a play, doing yoga, at book club, cooking new recipes, scrapbooking, traveling, walking the dog, or entertaining the kitties.
