I am 37 years old, and I have been married for almost 19 years to my HS sweetheart. We have a beautiful daughter who is a senior at Plano West. She graduates this year! We are a small family who love to hang out, watch movies & eat snacks. 
   

I am so happy to be a part of the Mitchell  family. I’m excited about starting my 4th year as a Meteor and my first full year as a teacher. 10 years ago, I didn’t have a job and my daughter was starting the 1st grade. I volunteered every single day until one day they surprised me and asked me to work with them as a Parent Liaison. 

With my foot in the door, the next 9 years I spent learning about special education and developing relationships with the most beautiful children and amazing staff. I’ve worked for IISD, RISD, and landed nicely in PISD. I love where I am in my life and even though sometimes it feels like I did everything backwards, I am  content knowing I am continuously growing & moving forward.
