I will be beginning my 34th year as an educator this school year.  Thirty-three of those years have been at Mitchell Elementary!  (Yes, I helped open the school!)  I am the second grade team leader, I love being part of the Mitchell community, and I am proud to call it “home”.  I grew up in Plano and am a proud Plano Wildcat.  My  husband, Jimmy, and I have two girls; Ginny, who teaches 4th grade here at Mitchell, and Grace, who will be a sophomore at Texas State in this fall! We also have loveable dog named Buddy.  My husband and I celebrated our 29th anniversary in June.  This summer has been spent relaxing after teaching summer school in June.  I also got some much needed household chores completed and getting caught up on the stack of books I want to read.  In my spare time I love to read, work on crafty projects, and attend PSHS football games.
