All three of my (adult) children attended Mitchell Elementary and graduated from Plano West SHS. We moved here from Maryland over 30 years ago and have lived in the Mitchell neighborhood the entire time. I was a stay-at-home mom that rarely stayed home. I volunteered practically full-time for PTA, booster clubs, dance teams, National Charity League, Girl Scouts, etc. When my youngest left home for college, I retired from volunteer work and joined the staff at Mitchell as school secretary. I’m loving it!  (Before my stay-at-home mom career, I worked as a professional secretary). 
My husband, Henry, and I enjoy spending time together and occasionally travelling.  Mostly, we love visiting our kids.  Our oldest daughter, Katrina, her husband, Kyle, and our granddaughter, Amelia, live in Baton Rouge. Our son, Nick, lives in New York City, and our youngest daughter, Marissa, lives in Las Colinas (at least one is nearby!). My parents and my brother and his family live in Plano, so we get to spend time with them often, also.
