About Me: I was born and raised in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, just south of Arizona. In 2000, I moved to Texas to attend Southwestern Adventist University. After my student teaching, I graduated in 2005 with my Bachelor of Science in Education. That fall, I taught first grade in Cleburne. The following year, I moved to Dallas and taught second grade for eight years at Jimmie Tyler Brashear Elementary.
In 2014, my daughter Madison was born. Two years later, my son Bryce was born. I was very blessed to be able to stay home with them for eight years! Now that my children are old enough to attend school, I’m excited to go back to the classroom to teach and learn with my students and teammates! Thank you for welcoming me to the Mitchell family!
