This will be my 7th year teaching in elementary education.  I have worked with first grade bilingual students for the past four years in Carrollton Farmers Branch and Garland ISD.  I am passionate about working with the littles and newcomer students.  I believe creating a positive and respectful classroom environment is where students flourish the most.  Recently, I have worked with newcomer students during this past summer helping them to learn the language and feel comfortable adjusting to a new environment.  I am very grateful to be joining Mitchell Elementary this year!   I recently became a mom to twins: Zaria and Leilani.  When at home, I am usually juggling to care for them and am eagerly waiting for their first steps.
