Ms. Bertha Barrientos
I'm a proud Dallas native starting my 32nd year in education with boundless enthusiasm. Teaching has always been my passion, particularly sharing my love for reading and forming lasting connections with students. I have a deep appreciation for language, culture, and celebrating the rich diversity of our country. Outside of school, I'm fortunate to have three incredible daughters: Lili, a nurse in KC; Daniela, a teacher in Coppell; and Isabela, pursuing nursing starting in '25. My husband David, an electrical engineer, shares my love for learning and exploring new ideas. I love reading, exercising, and travelling. I'm eagerly looking forward to meeting all the fifth graders and their parents. Let's make this year a journey of discovery and growth together!
