Dr. Susan Lafayette

Previously, I was a practicing Obstetrician/ Gynecologist; now, I'm a full time teacher at the Plano ISD Health Sciences Academy.

Classes at Williams HS: dual credit Medical Terminology and Pathophysiology, in conjunction with Collin College

             Principles of Biomedical Science, a project-based class from Project Lead The Way curriculums.

Education: Bachelor of Science & Medical Doctorate from Northwestern University 

                post-doctoral Ob/Gyn training at UT Southwestern/ Parkland Hospital

Family: married to Dr. Charles Dunlap (pediatrician)

           proud mom of: Caroline Dunlap (PESH IB, 2019) a sophomore at Texas State studying Special Education

                         and:   Chris Dunlap, a senior at Plano West, band aficionado and hopeful mechanical engineer

           dog mom to: Lori (yellow lab) and Bullett (pit/ hound mix), whose talents include sleeping anywhere, preferably couches
