Hello! I am so excited about starting my third year at Mitchell and my second year as the Parent Involvement Liaison. 
I am originally from Grandview, Missouri and moved to Dallas 25 years ago. Before having children, I was a Respiratory Therapist.  I worked in an ER and ICU in Missouri before moving to Dallas, and then I was an ER therapist and Clinical Instructor at Childrens Medical Center Dallas.  After staying home with my children for about 15 years, I became a Pre-K teacher with 2-year-olds for 5 ½ years.  During the 1st year of Covid, I got hired here at Mitchell.
I have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 of them went to school in Mitchell (Gabi is now 21 and Shelby is 12).  I have a twin sister who is my best friend.  
I love to travel! I love the National Parks and Disney!  My most recent trips were to Alaska, Michigan and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.  Gabi and I are heading to Guatemala in January for my nephew's wedding.
I am extremely excited about getting to work with all the students, teachers and families at Mitchell.
