Dennis Langevin is the Orchestra Director at Hendrick Middle School. He started teaching in 1997 and has been at Hendrick since 1999. His orchestras have consistently received Sweepstakes ratings at UIL competitions and Superior ratings at local music festivals. Mr. Langevin is honored to be a previous Hendrick Middle School Experienced Teacher of the Year and a past recipient of the National School Orchestra Association (NSOA) and Texas American String Teachers Association's (Tex ASTA) Marjorie Keller Outstanding Young Orchestra Director Award.

Mr. Langevin is a Plano ISD product and a graduate of Plano East Senior High School. He earned his Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas and is an active clinician, conductor and adjudicator in North Texas as well as many regions around the state. He is also an active musician, and you may see him playing professionally on violin, guitar, bass, mandolin, or anything with a string on it!!

Mr. Langevin is a member of the Texas Orchestra Directors Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and The American Federation of Musicians.
