  • Summer Enrichment Programs Registration Deadline Extended to April 19 - Register Today

    Our Plano ISD enrichment programs provide an innovative learning experience and are open to students in grades 1-8. 

    Students can choose from a list of courses that includes:

    • Humanities
    • Science
    • Mathematics
    • Social Sciences
    • Fine Arts
    • Computer Science
    • Engineering

  • Applications for 2024 STEM Signing Day Now Open

    Applications are now open for the 2024 STEM Signing Day presented by Boeing and powered by Tallo.

    All 2024 Plano ISD graduating seniors who plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or university and pursue a program or degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) are eligible to apply. For more information, please view the application here. 

    Applications are due April 24, 2024. Questions can be sent to Karen Buechman, Plano ISD Director of Career & Technical Education.

  • Hendrick Middle School will resume classes Thursday, January 18. 

    We will follow our regular arrival and dismissal procedures as well as our normal class and lunch schedule. We have relocated five classrooms due to additional repairs that are still being completed and have notified those teachers whose classes will be impacted. 

    Many thanks to our district facilities team and outside contractors for their work to repair and restore our building. Our Hendrick teachers and staff have been working today and are ready to welcome students back to school. We appreciate your patience and support for teaching and learning at Hendrick Middle School.

  • Student Safety- Arrival and Dismissal Procedures 

    We are here at Hendrick to welcome our students each morning as early as 7:45 a.m. and will safely supervise them after school until 4:00 p.m. You may drop off your child beginning at 7:45 at the front of the building. Students entering our building anytime before 8:20 a.m. will be directed to the cafeteria to wait morning dismissal. First period begins at 8:25 a.m.

    Any student having breakfast at school is welcome to purchase breakfast and eat in the cafeteria prior to morning dismissal.

    All students are dismissed at 3:40 p.m. and are encouraged to be off campus by 4:00 p.m. when our staff completes supervision for the day. Staff supervision ends promptly at 4:00 p.m.each day.
