She is a dedicated educator with a deep understanding of learning differences, both personally and professionally. As the mother of  young men with learning differences, she brings valuable personal experience to her teaching practice. Since 2023, Lola has been a part of Hendrick Middle School, where she leverages her background in supporting and teaching students with diverse learning needs. She previously worked as an ESL/Special Education in-class support specialist at Guinn Special Programs. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, with a working knowledge of Portuguese. She firmly believes that respect, kindness, discipline and routine are essential for helping students become responsible and lifelong learners.
