Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Alternative certification in teaching EC-6
Hello, my name is Jackie Trejo and I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year at Mendenhall Elementary. I am very proud to say I am a Plano product myself! I attended Plano ISD schools and graduated from Plano East (go Panthers)!
I am a graduate of The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I provided therapy to children for several years and loved it! That is the reason I decided to pursue an Alternative Certification in Education.
Having been a Plano ISD substitute for several years was a great way for me to learn from different teachers teaching at different schools. I held several long-term jobs and gained lots of valuable experience by doing this.
I am extremely passionate about what I do, excited to get to know the wonderful kindergarten students and grateful to be in the district! I am Plano ISD proud!
