Hi Longhorn family!

Working with children is something that I have been doing over 10+ plus years, and I am happy to be continuing my journey here at Mendenhall! Over the years I've taught all subjects for 4th grade & 3rd grade reading, writing, social studies and science.  I've worked with children ages 2-18 and it has been amazing to make a difference in their lives. Teaching is a career that runs in my family and I am proud to be carrying the torch. My favorite part about teaching is that I get to see my students grow academically, mentally, and emotionally. That truly brings me joy! I am so excited to be teaching our young fourth grade scholars this year! 

A little about me!

I graduated from Tuskegee University in Alabama with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2015. I then moved to Houston, Texas to start my career. I worked with 2-4 year olds for some time and then I had my first son (Aiden who also attends Mendenhall). After that I long term subbed for a year while earning my Texas Teaching Certification in 2017.My husband's job then relocated us to Austin, Texas for 2 1/2 years where I taught elementary and then to California. There I took some time to explore modeling and acting. You can find me in shows such as, "Mr. Mayor" "Family Reunion" "Superstore" "Kenan" "Hacks" "All American," and many more! I also decided to start my own business called Mommy Chronicles llc. Through my business I created a platform and provide opportunities for mothers to connect with one another and provide them with support, encouragement, and motivation through their motherhood journey. I also provide them with tools on how to work through the challenges that come with it. I then moved beack to Texas in 2021 and have been here with my Longhorn family ever since! Our family has grown since then by two more (Kameron & Kyro)! We can't wait to conrinue our journey here in Texas and especially Mendenhall!
