Hi!

My name is Ashlynn Harris, and I am a bilingual second-grade teacher.  I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019 with a degree in International Studies.  After graduating, I moved to Spain to teach English.  I stayed for three years and I realized that I love teaching kids.  This will be my second year at Mendenhall, and I am so excited to be here!  My hope this year is that my students will develop their skills in both Spanish and English, and that they will love learning.

Mi nombre es Ashlynn Harris y soy una maestra bilingüe de ssegundo grado.  Me gradué de la Universidad de Texas A&M en 2019 con una licenciatura en Estudios Internacionales.  Después de graduarme, me mudé a España para enseñar inglés.  Me quedé allí por tres años y me di cuenta de que me encanta enseñar a los niños.  Este será mi segundo año en Mendenhall y estoy muy emocionada de estar aquí.  Mi deseo para este año es que mis estudiantes desarrollarán sus habilidades en español y inglés y que les encantarán aprender.
