Hello Mendenhall families!

I am so excited to be joining this community this year! I grew up here in Plano and went through the elementary, middle and high schools here. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Bilingual Elementary Education from Texas A&M Commerce. When I decided to become a teacher, I knew I had to come back to teach in the district that helped shape me. For the past 6 years I have been a Bilingual teacher, and this year I am your new Bilingual Instructional Specialist. I am excited to serve and get to know this amazing community and connect with our students and families so that we can continue to grow and reach new heights together. It is going to be a great year!

¡Estoy muy emocionada de unirme a esta comunidad este año! Crecí aquí en Plano y pasé por las escuelas primarias, intermedias y secundarias aquí. Tengo una Licenciatura en Artes en Estudios Interdisciplinarios en Educación Primaria Bilingüe de Texas A&M Commerce. Cuando decidí convertirme en maestra, sabía que tenía que regresar para enseñar en el distrito que me ayudó a formarme. Durante los últimos 6 años he sido maestra bilingüe y este año soy su nueva especialista en instrucción bilingüe. Estoy emocionado de servir y conocer esta increíble comunidad y conectarme con nuestros estudiantes y familias para que podamos seguir creciendo y alcanzar nuevas alturas juntos. ¡Va a ser un gran año!
