    The International Baccalaureate (IB) World School at Huffman Elementary Primary Years Programme (PYP) fosters the development of knowledgeable, principled and internationally minded citizens. This program focuses on the whole child, develops effective approaches to teaching and learning, works to increase an understanding of languages and culture, and explores globally significant ideas and issues. Our scholars approach the world with an open mind and aspire to understand the different perspectives and ideas of others, while helping to create a more peaceful world.

  • High School/Senior High School Hybrid Cohort Calendar Adjustment

    Monday, Oct. 5, is designated as a day for cohort A students (last names beginning with A-L) to attend school (for face-to-face) or participate in synchronous learning (for School@Home). This day has been added for cohort A in order to ensure both cohorts participate in synchronous instruction the same number of days during the grading period. Cohort B students will participate in asynchronous activities on Oct. 5.

  • Free Meals for all Plano ISD Students

    Due to a wavier from the USDA, all Plano students will receive free breakfast and lunch until Dec. 31 or as long as funds are available. Effective, Sept. 15, free weekly meal bundles are available for curbside pickup for School@Home learners at Clark HS, Shepton HS and Williams HS on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Documentation required if child not present. Hybrid learners can pick up free meal bundles in the school cafeteria on Tues. (cohort A) or Wed. (cohort B) from 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. for off-campus consumption on asynchronous learning days. Read More.

    Comidas gratis para todos los estudiantes del ISD de Plano

    Debido a una exención del USDA, todos los estudiantes de Plano recibirán desayuno y almuerzo gratis hasta el 31 de diciembre o mientras haya fondos disponibles. A partir del 15 de septiembre, se ofrecen paquetes de comida semanales gratuitos cada martes para los alumnos en School@Home (Escuela en Casa). Recogido de comidas es de 9:30 a 10:30 a.m. y de 4:45 p.m. a 6:00 p.m. en las escuelas secundarias Clark, Shepton y Williams. Se requiere documentación si el niño no está presente. Los alumnos en aprendizaje híbrido pueden recoger los paquetes de comida gratis en la cafetería de la escuela los martes (cohorte A) o el miércoles. (cohorte B) de 4:15 a 4:30 p.m. para el consumo fuera de la escuela en los días de aprendizaje asincrónico. Lea más.

  • September 9: Prek to 8th Grade Face-to-Face Learning Begins for Students Who Have Selected the Face-to-Face Learning Environment

    Beginning Sept. 9, students who have selected to attend face-to-face instruction in prek-8th grade will attend class on campus. Those selecting School@Home will continue with remote learning.

    September 9: Grades 9 to 12 Hybrid Schedule Begins for Both Face-to-Face and School@Home Learning

    Beginning Sept. 9 in grades 9-12, students will observe a hybrid learning schedule for both face-to-face and school@home. Students are divided into two cohorts based on last name. Students who selected the face-to-face learning will attend two days per week on campus with their cohort, with asynchronous learning through remote instruction on the remaining three days. School@Home students will participate in synchronous instruction two days per week with their cohort and asynchronous learning on the remaining three school days.  More information.
