Armstrong + North Texas Food Bank
Armstrong is thrilled to offer a school pantry program in partnership with the North Texas Food Bank. Families will receive 15 pounds of fresh produce and 20 pounds of shelf stable items such as pasta, pasta sauce, tuna, vegetables, rice, beans, and cereal - ALL FOR FREE! Produce and dry goods are given on a first come, first serve basis. No enrollment or application is necessary!
The AMS School Pantry distribution will take place once a month on Tuesday’s directly after dismissal at 4:00 PM in the bus circle at the back of the building (north side). Buses depart at 3:40, so you will be able to park along the bus circle and wait for a volunteer to bring the goods to your car.
The AMS School Pantry is only available to Armstrong families, and a parent or guardian of the AMS student must be present to take advantage of this great opportunity. The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit relief organization which leads the fight against hunger with knowledge-based strategies to distribute donated, purchased, and prepared foods through a network of feeding programs in 13 North Texas counties. NTFB supports the nutritional needs of children, families, and seniors through education, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.
