This is my 3rd year at Armstrong, serving as their Clinical Nurse.
I have worked in the educational setting for over 22 years, and I understand that for students to learn, they must physically feel well. I have spent most of my time educating secondary students in Health Science courses for Carrollton-Farmers Branch, Wylie ISD, and Frisco ISD. I have remained a National and State Licensed Paramedic for the past 38 years, and a Registered Nurse, for the past 25 years. I have more than 37 years of progressive experience in the Medical field from Emergency room, Operating suite, Medical - medical-surgical units, Quality Improvement, and Emergency Management to the Chief Nursing Officer. My professional history includes working as a field paramedic for Careflite, over 20 years of Pediatric Nursing at Children's Medical Center, and holding an Adjunct Faculty Position at Dallas / Brookhaven College.
I truly enjoy working with kids and medicine. I am blessed to be the mom of a 17-year-old daughter, Gabrielle, who attends Plano Senior High. She is the light of my life and plans to follow me down the path of education. We enjoy traveling, swimming, watching movies, and spending time with family.
