I attended UNT (B.A. Sociology m. Psychology with certificate in mediation) and WGU (M.S. Curriculum & Instruction). Teaching is my 2nd career, with 13 years as a middle school science teacher.

Science is my favorite subject but I did not always enjoy school myself and often got in trouble, so I teach to promote self-advocacy and independent thinking so that ALL students can embrace the power of knowledge and provide themselves a future. 

I am a huge advocate of the AVID program and I love soccer!
