My name is Mariana Cortez, and I am a 7th (on-level/honors) and 8th grade math teacher at Armstrong Middle School.  This will be my 17th year here at Armstrong.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas.  I have a 5-year-old son, a 10-year-old daughter, a 20-year-old stepson, and a 23-year-old stepdaughter.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and listening to music.  I love teaching math and helping everyone reach their true potential!
