I have been a Plano resident since 1975. After graduating from Plano Senior High School, I attended Baylor University, where I majored in elementary education. I returned to teach on Plano ISD beginning in 1984. I received a Masters Degree and my Principal Certification from Texas Woman's University. I spent 33 years in PISD as a teacher, assistant principal and principal.

Prior to retiring from PISD, I was the principal at Mendenhall Elementary from 2002 - 2017. Since retiring, I have had the opportunity to substitute for many principals and assistant principals at various campuses in PISD. I absolutely love working with students, staff and parent communities to ensure student success.
