Degrees and Certifications:

Raphael Gelacio

Hi! My name is Raphael Gelacio and I am excited to start my first year at Armstrong! This year I will be teaching 8th Grade U.S. History, 8th Grade Honors U.S. History, and 8th Grade PACE. I am also the faculty advisor for the National Junior Honors Society chapter at Armstrong. I have previously operated in Plano ISD at the kindergarten, elementary, and middle school level, with my last posting being at the 8th grade level for U.S. History and PACE.

As a Plano ISD alumnus (go Wolfpack!) I was equipped with the content knowledge and critical skills needed to successfully complete my education at the collegiate level and find success as a young adult. I truly believe that education is an equalizer that can allow our future generations to follow the American Dream while also become responsible citizens and successful young adults. I look forward to helping the rising class of 2027 find success in their high school and college classrooms, and beyond.
